If you are going to visit Colombia, you are going to meet very kind and helpful people. Therefore, if you are planning your trip from abroad, count on reliable guides like those of our work team so that you can enjoy your stay with complete safety and confidence.
Climate
Known as the “City of Eternal Spring”, Medellín has a temperate climate. Wear light, comfortable clothing, but don’t forget a light jacket for the evenings. Also, if you want to go out at night to a good restaurant, inn or nightclub, wear good clothes so that you look your best.
Transportation
Use the metro system and metrocables to get around easily and enjoy panoramic views. You can also opt for taxis or transportation applications. If you are on some of our plans, you will have high-level private transportation.
Culture
Don’t miss the Museum of Antioquia and the Parque de los Deseos. Take the opportunity to try the tray paisa at a local restaurant. And be sure to try our traditional sweets such as wafers with arequipe, solteritas, figs with cheese and arequipe and don’t leave without trying an authentic Paisa breakfast that has crunchy arepa with cheese, eggs to taste and a good coffee or chocolate.
If you travel in December, visit the Christmas lighting of the Medellín, Envigado and Sabaneta rivers, they are spectacular and their theme changes every year.
If you like to play sports and walk, we recommend going to the bike path on Sundays or if you prefer a more demanding walk, we recommend climbing the hill of the three crosses, where you will observe the city from above and enjoy its beauty from the top.
